All-day workshop
19 May 2022 @ 09:00 - 13:00
The ever-changing and fast-paced world of work places ever greater demands on individuals. It is widely accepted that emotional intelligence is a better predictor of effective leadership and general success in the workplace than IQ.
Emotional intelligence empowers us to recognise and understand our own emotions and feelings, gain insight into how we express ourselves, improving our empathy and develop and maintain healthy social relationships. By developing our emotional intelligence, we learn to cope with environmental demands and pressures more effectively.
Emotional intelligence has been identified as one of the core skills needed for the new world of work. This refers to the skills needed to identify, understand and manage our own emotions, and those of the people around us.
This workshop will equip delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to discover their own levels of emotional intelligence, as well as to enhance their strengths, and address areas for development.
Benefits for the individual include:
-
Being more positive about themselves
-
Being less impulsive

Improved quality of leadership
